Team Leader Validation

Quality will prevail - but not of its own accord.

Tact, great willingness to compromise, enjoyment in discussions and good arguments - this is the recipe for success when it comes to Quality Management. As part of PARI Medical Holding, it is our task as an internal service-provider to standardise and monitor processes at PARI's various sites in Germany. In this context I am responsible for repeatedly encouraging my colleagues to comply with the guidelines and reminding them about the principles of GMP. This is naturally not always an easy task and calls for an understanding and appreciation of the individual departments of the company. But we're working on it.

But if you want to really understand what we do, you should imagine the following: We're obliged to translate the often highly abstract, theoretical and generalised requirements of the applicable laws and standards into processes used at PARI in the most efficient, effective and pragmatic way possible. To master these challenges, I have to look for creative new solutions with colleagues time and time again. And that's something I really enjoy.

Since joining PARI, I have made good progress in terms of personal development – partly due to taking full advantage of the training courses available here. After graduating in environmental engineering and working for another company for a few years, I was taken on by PARI as a validation specialist for its sites based at Starnberg and Munich. After only 18 months I worked my way up to Manager Validation and am meanwhile employed as Team Leader Validation responsible for the entire PARI in Germany (Starnberg, Munich, Weilheim). During my time at the company, I have also qualified as an internal auditor, improved my management skills through seminars and completed the Green Belt Six Sigma training course. Armed with this knowledge I am still making every effort to drive forward process standardisation at our German sites.
